My artwork explores people's daily lives. With my work I want to tell hidden and everyday life stories of people and place. Calling audienes to draw attention to overlooked aspects of their surrounding and connect their own personal memories.

I'm not a 'concrete' artist devoted to one single genre or medium, rather  I am pliable, always exploring new ideas, forms, and processes. I absorb the tradition of remembrance art into daily practice. People, cultures and stories those elements like many fragment put together and create new artworks.  I explore different spaces, atmosphere and draw on their unique elements to select materials for my work. Each project sees a range of different media, grouped around specific themes and meanings, During research and production new areas of interest arise and lead to the next body of work.

For me, I draw inspiration from life. My aim is to create works that ask people about their lives, creating time to share their stories with others. In my past work, 'Historical Memory', I interviewed residents about their memories of the Masonic Hall in the community. More recently, my work uses tea to communicate with people. Tea memories involve the sights, sounds, scents and taste of the moment, and it is a simple way to share people's stories through tea time.

With my work I want to encourage people to share their daily life. Often seemingly small stories, in which I see the beauty and essence of life will emerge.
